Gratitude

Pastor Joby encourages us to keep a gratitude list-- for each year you have lived, you list one thing you are grateful for. This list is not in any specific order. This is my 2025 list.

1. I am grateful for Jesus 🙌🏼
2. I am grateful for mercy, grace, God’s love, and salvation 🙌🏼
3. I am grateful for my Bible(s)
4. I am grateful for my family (especially my grandkids) 💕
5. I am grateful for my friends, you know who you are
6. I am grateful for my church and Pastor Joby 🙌🏼
7. I am grateful for Discipleship Groups and the incredible love and support you give me
8. I am grateful for Pastors in my life that have taught me so much about Jesus 🙌🏼
9. I am grateful for Moody Bible Institute and their incredible professors
10. I am grateful for First Baptist Christian School and the opportunity to teach art there
11. I am grateful for art supplies, paint pens, canvases, paper, sketchbooks, scissors, glue, paintbrushes, and paint, especially fluorescent paint 😁 ✌🏼
12. I am grateful for University of Florida, Go Gators 🐊
13. I am grateful for being able to live in the USA
14. I am grateful for my pups, present and past, especially Bruno & Roxy
15. I am grateful for purrbabies, especially Mr Boots & BootyJ
16. I am grateful for my beautiful, blue house
17. I am grateful for living in awesome neighborhoods
18. I am grateful to live near the ocean
19. I am grateful for sunrises over the Atlantic

21. I am grateful for the mountains
22. I am grateful for sand between my toes

28. I am grateful for palm trees, especially coconut palms
29. I am grateful for pineapples, strawberries, blueberries, fruit in general
30. I am grateful for sourdough bread
31. I am grateful for veggies (I love veggies)
32. I am grateful for bacon
33. I am grateful for shoes
34. I am grateful for smiles

38. I am grateful for memories of fun things I’ve done with my family
39. I am grateful for my grandmother loving me the way she did
40. I am grateful for spending summers as a child at my grandmother’s house in the country
41. I am grateful for boat rides
42. I am grateful for beach chairs and boogie boards
43. I am grateful for swimming pools
44. I am grateful for the beautiful house I raised my boys in
45. I am grateful for always having shelter, food, water, and clothes my whole life
46. I am grateful for the opportunity to travel
47. I am grateful for Montana
48. I am grateful for rainbows, especially double rainbows
49. I am grateful for snow but grateful I don’t have to live where it snows all the time
50. I am grateful for music!

53. I am grateful that I got to live in VA growing up and learn about the history of our country

55. I am grateful for fishing and someone to take the fish off the hoof for me

63. I am grateful for family photographs that capture the love we have for each other
64. I am grateful for Smith &Wesson revolver and target shooting
65. I am grateful for sunshine and sunny days
66. I am grateful for clear night skies with a beautiful moon and a lot of stars
67. I am grateful for gardening—I love plants
