Animated memes

This lesson involved creating animated memes. This first one was created from images almost entirely downloaded from memes on the Internet. It addresses a lesson for a church college group titled, "What do you live for?" I created this meme while waiting to hear from doctors treating my father-in-law for a heart attack, making the message extremely relevant. It contains nine photographs that I added text to.

What happens when a teacher sets their phone down? Students discreetly use it to quickly take selfies to be discovered later! Of course these two took the pictures the afternoon of graduation hoping they would not get in trouble. I created the meme to share with them. It contains nine selfies.

These girls and I created photographs to give to a friend. He was making bad decisions and asked us to hold him accountable. In the photos, we all gave him the "Luigi death stare." I created this meme and sent to our friend. He loved it.

This was my first attempt at an animated meme. I used a video clip made by students playing with a computer video program. I had to download the video and create frames from the video. It was definitely a learning experience. It contains seventy frames with text attached.
