What happens when a teacher sets their phone down? Students discreetly use it to quickly take selfies to be discovered later! Of course these two took the pictures their last art class before graduation hoping they would not get in trouble.
I can't believe this was our last Monday of the school year in Art class! It was jam packed as students collected their artwork and bagged it up to bring home. Students also worked on our Sumi Art Project. What a crazy fun-filled day! I love our FBCS students!
One thing I dislike is when a student misses art class to work on other subjects. I feel art is just as important as any academic subject. I created this digital photomontage for the class I am taking to represent how I feel.
Students have rehearsed, hung artwork, and completed their self-portraits. Everything is ready. All we need is for you to come tonight. Doors are open at 6pm to look at artwork. The talent show begins at 6:30. We look forward to seeing you!
It has been a long time since I have used Photoshop. The version I had was on a computer that died years ago so I downloaded the new version. It definitely took me a while to figure out what I was doing. Technology changes so quickly! And--of course I did the project completely wrong with the first attempt. I actually think I like the one I did wrong better than the one I did correctly.
This week I completed the first project for The Digital Image class I am taking. The assignment involved creating a self-portrait post for our class blog that contained six images and reflections. Although I enjoyed looking through photographs to put this together, it was hard to choose which ones to use.
