1st and 2nd graders viewed a landscape by Grant Wood, a seascape by A. E. Backus, and a cityscape by Romare Beardon. We talked about the works of art, what we liked about them, how they were alike, and how they were different. Students then used collage material to create one of the scapes. Can you tell which is a landscape, a seascape, and a cityscape?
Art Club placed their first RANDOM ACTS OF ART on the wall this past week. Members created fall artworks using oil pastels and watercolor. They matted and arranged them on the 1st floor in the middle school building. They look fall fabulous. Great job FBCS Art Club!
Former FBCS student A.J. Willsey's art was on display at Audi of Stuart this week. His jellyfish painting was the first piece to sell at the show. A.J. attends Clark Learning Center and is taking art classes at The Visionary School of the Arts in Stuart. I think he has a great future ahead of him. FBCS is proud of you, A.J.
