...when you move. One such problem is locating your stuff. I remember putting the metal container of artist markers and paint pens with things for the condo. Not only are they not in the condo, they are no where within sight in the storage building! I'm over looking. A trip to Hobby Lobby is on the agenda for this afternoon.
The past couple of months have been filled with change. Ray and I updated and sold our Jensen Beach home of almost 30 years. l left my job as FBCS Art teacher. We gave away, sold, donated, and packed our stuff and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. We are settling into the condo the boys lived in while attending UNF. Searching for a new home and checking out employment opportunities have kept me busy. The best part of this change has been attending church and spending time with family.
I cannot thank you enough for the joy your children have given me. Working at FBCS has been an incredible experience. Thank you for the opportunity to teach your children! Here are a few pictures from today.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor...
Middle School artists learned the importance of working together during this lesson. They divided into groups and worked on designs for interactive tape murals. This afternoon the sun came out just long enough for the 6th graders to construct their designs on the outside walls of the high school building. I'm hoping the weather will cooperate tomorrow so the 7th & 8th graders can put theirs up. Check the lesson out for more information.
