Our recent trip to California included visiting San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Berkley, and the beaches. However, you will quickly realize our trip wasn't about sightseeing, it was all about this adorable, young man. This little guy has my heart. He is the happiest, most loving little boy you ever want to meet. Some people might say my view is tainted but I beg to disagree. He smiles all the time and loves to laugh. He enjoys the outdoors and will swing as long as you push him. His favorite toys are his books and his soccer ball (and he has amazing ball skills for his age). He sings, dances, and adores music. He has a lot to say, although I can't understand most of the words. Let's just say I love this 1 year old bundle of fun.
Furthermore, these two are incredible parents. To begin with, Josh and Amanda understand that the most important way to be a good parent is to love each other. Not only does Theo know his mom and dad love each other by the way they live their lives, but he also knows he is loved. He gets a lot of hugs, kisses, playtime and good-natured roughhousing. He is praised for good behavior and reprimanded in a loving manner for the occasional not so good behavior. Josh and Amanda recognize Theo's limits and try their best to stick to a schedule. Most important, they reinforce their strong Christian beliefs in how they live everyday life.
I am more than blessed and cannot wait to see this little man again!
There are a lot of benefits with my job. For example, I get to blog about things I am passionate about and include photos of my family and pets as in this blog post I recently wrote about Frenchies, 3 Reasons Frenchies Love Curicyn. The good looking young man in the photo is my baby, JordyTom. That adorable tri-color Frenchie is my Roxy and Bruno's (my French Bulldogs) pup, Penne.
