We returned from California late Tuesday night to find Ray's dad in the hospital. He had another heart attack. Needless to say, between jet lag, a sinus infection, and hospital visits, things have been crazy and Christmas day came fast. We were able to attend Christmas Eve service at Southpoint Community Church and had dinner with family and new friends at Justin and Kellie's house. On Christmas morning we spent time with Ray's parents at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital. Later we went to Jordy Tom's house to eat food and open gifts. My boys gave me a beautiful ink drawing of our Jensen house. When I opened it my heart was filled with mixed emotions. The artist did an incredible job of capturing the details of the house and as I took in each pen stroke I was reminded of the many Christmases we spent there. While it made me miss the days when my boys were young, it also reminded of the reason we moved to Jacksonville--to be close to family. As hectic as this Christmas as been, I'm grateful to be here. God has truly blessed us. Here are a few pictures.
